Petts Wood 10k Sunday October 11th
- Report from Maureen Farish
This was the third running of a very
well organised and popular race. There were 661 finishers and Bromley Veterans
were represented by an excellent 12 members. A
testing course mainly through woodlands. Apologies if some names left out; only
those listed in the results as Bromley Vets are recorded. Well done to all who
competed.

Wednesday 6 MayWe were once more able to enter
teams for the Beckenham team relay. It's one lap

starting and finishing in Dunfield Road, opposite
Beckenham Place Park. Our veterans only teams did
very well with 25th and 35th places out of 40
teams.

Hastings
half marathon - Sunday 15 March
There was a fairly
low turnout from BVAC this year for the Hastings
half. It was a shame as the weather was nigh
perfect with sun, little or no wind but sensible
temperatures. Well done to those who made the
trip.

Cyprus
Marathon - Sunday 15 March
Adrian Walters
once again took part in the Cyprus Marathon,
though with a high wind he thought this was one
of the toughest tests. He finished a very
creditable 35th of the 100 finishers in a time of
3:54:23.
