Back to Dartford Stadium after a long absence. The weather was
warm when we began but not by the end - that's the mid-April start this year.
New 'boy' Gavin Kitchingham made an enterprising start but came to wish he
hadn't had to tackle the 200m before the 1500m. New 'old' boy - first claim for
us now - Mike Martineau did his bit, along with returner Mark Russell and the
ever presents Chris Marshall, Tony Unseld and Phil Greenfield. New blood too in
the ladies team with Pat Cliff and Nikki Davies making their debuts, supporting
team captain Barbara Pope (no, you're making up your own jokes now!)
